Andres Godinez Au.D., M.S.
Serving At:
Sherman Oaks Ear & Hearing Aid Institute
Quote:
"I learned my true calling in life early on: helping people hear. Whether it's a newborn baby, a teenager full of dreams, or a grandparent sharing their wisdom, each patient is unique. Being able to improve someone's daily life—from fine-tuning an advanced hearing aid to simple earwax removal—never gets old."— Dr. Andres Godinez, Au.D.
About
Dr. Andres Godinez has spent more than 18 years dedicated to improving the hearing health of adults and children throughout Southern California. His journey in audiology began in the late 1990s as an Audiology Aide for the Los Angeles and Ventura Unified School Districts. While pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University of Redlands, he volunteered at the university’s Audiology Clinic, confirming his passion for diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing care.
Dr. Godinez earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Redlands, a Master’s degree in Audiology from California State University, Northridge, and his Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University. He launched his professional career at Adventist Health White Memorial Medical Center in Boyle Heights, alongside clinical work at a local hearing aid dispensary. Early in his career, he established his first private practice evaluating residents in local nursing homes—a commitment to accessible care that remains a core value of his practice today.
As the lead audiologist and founder of Sherman Oaks Ear & Hearing Institute (formerly Hearing Aid Center), Dr. Godinez has helped thousands of patients reconnect with their loved ones and active lives. He and his team prioritize ongoing advanced training to bring the latest technological and clinical advancements directly to their patients.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Godinez enjoys working out, cooking, working on cars, tackling DIY home projects, and spending time with his family. He is also an innovator who actively works on designing and patenting custom hearing protection devices.
