Yesterday in the morning I call this place to book and appointment because was having some weird noise on my right ear and wanted a professional advice about what’s wrong with my ear; called and Carla from the from desk answered and book me the same day in the afternoon Got lucky cause usually it takes time to see a doctor. Well, everything went amazing the doctor explained to.me In details about what I might have, and his assistant Nancy was super amazing. At the end they washed my ears got rid of all the wax. And feel much better now. Definitely recommend this place and if you go Ask for Nancy she is the best.

I was referred to Dr. Godinez due to persistent tinnitus. It began around my second trimester of pregnancy and I was around 4 months post-partum, yet it still wouldn’t go away. I saw Dr. Godinez and in all honesty, I don’t think I have felt this comfortable with a doctor, and I only saw him twice! First, he took the time to examine my ear and test my hearing. He then asked me several questions in regards to my ear condition. He was super easy to talk to and NEVER rushed a single question or concern I had. Even though he couldn’t find the reason behind my tinnitus, he asked me to come back for a follow-up (He didn’t give up and give me the boot like other doctors’, which proves that he is a thoughtful doctor.) After my follow up, he told me my problem sounded like it needed to be assessed by a cardiologist because I felt a throbbing sensation, so he placed a referral for me to see a cardiologist! Of course, I was scared–like what’s wrong with me? We had a long chat and all I can say is he is such an hard-working doctor who is passionate about his profession. I was very thankful that he took the time to dig into what was happening to me. I didn’t receive an acceptance letter from my insurance until about a month later, and luckily, the throbbing in my ear had greatly diminished by then. It happens randomly, maybe once or twice a month now, but that’s nothing compared to almost every day for many months! It must have been one of those weird things that pregnancy does, and one of MANY for me, unfortunately.. If you’re wondering whether Dr. Andres Godinez is a good audiologist, he is actually GREAT and will definitely take care of you. Glad I am able to review.

I took my mom to Dr Godinez office and got an appt last min for my mom for wax removal because she was feeling like her hearing went down and also with a plug sensation. I schedule out of pocket for my mom because she only have emergency medical. I called and the front desk was so nice and they squeezed me in the same day and provided me a lot of info on the phone even sent me the address through text. :). Everyone in the office speak Spanish and made my mom felt so happy and comfortable since we got there! My mom ended up having no wax đ is just her hearing got damaged by the type of job she does but Dr Godinez explained her how to protect her hearing and also from the Tinnitus that she has and will come back for further testing. I highly recommend this place!!

I made the mistake of cleaning my ears by using an LED device that uses little attachments to scoop out the ear wax. The little plastic scoop slipped off and got stuck in my ear. I went to an urgent care center and they basically made things worse and I wasted $125.I made an appointment at the Sherman Oaks Ear and Hearing Institute. I was treated like family, felt very comfortable and I knew I was under expert and caring care. The staff are like a favorite family member and you know they truly care; very courteous and professional. If you have an issue with your ears or your hearing, please take my advice and set an appointment with the great folks at Sherman Oaks Ear and Hearing Institute.

Had some pretty bad buildup in my ears and was experiencing periods of hearing loss as a result. I called this office and they were able to take me in on the same day.The tech was so kind and friendly! She made conversation with me while, yanno, irrigating my ears, no biggie!! She was super funny and I wish I could remember her name. She also showed me the before and after on a live camera which was both gross and awesome!
One of the ears (sorry if this is gross!) was super stubborn so the doctor had to come in and work on it. He got it! It was like hearing in Hi-Def! (That’s my favorite post-ear-cleaning line).
Great staff, reasonable pricing (this wasn’t covered by my insurance), super quick service. I’ll definitely be back (although hopefully with less buildup this time — oops!)

The service at the Sherman Oaks Ear and Hearing institute was amazing. The office continues to follow Covid guidelines, which helps the patient feel cared for. The parking situation is in a covered structure and there is plenty and secure, so that is a plus, because with these hot days, it helps to get back to a cool car, especially with the little ones. The Audiologist, Dr. Godinez, was great. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and great with kids. The Dr. Godinez bonded well with my son, he even made a Donald duck impression, which my son loved. I took my son to the office because he was complaining about ear pain. He tends to get infections right around summertime because of all the swimming pool activity. Every time he’s had an ear infection, they automatically give him a antibiotic, (because they said his ears look red) so I thought maybe it’s time to take him to a specialist, for a change. Dr. Godinez looked at his ears and said they were red but no infection and even double checked with another machine to check if there was any liquid in his ears, but they were dry, just red. He recommended warm compresses and some drops, Ear Pro, which is all plant based/ natural. After, the first night he said his ears had no longer any pain. I highly recommend him. I am thinking about all the other times his pediatrician, prescribed him antibiotics because his ears were red and having to deal with loose stools (because of the antibiotics), struggles to have him take those nasty antibiotics. I am very happy that I crossed path with Dr. Godinez and highly recommend him. I apologize, if this is long, but I just wanted to share my great experience and avoid anybody an unnecessary dose of antibiotics.

After my child had sleepless nights from an ear infection, I heard from a friend that Dr. Godinez was an amazing ear doctor that works well with children. Parking was easy. The lobby was spacious and clean. The nurses were very attentive and knowledgeable. Since this was my first visit we had to do paper work but it was easy and fast. Dr. Godinez is a very patient and observant doctor. Even before I could tell him what my son had, he was already asking me numerous questions. I found Dr Godinez’ office on google with a simple search and realized I was living very close. My ears were almost blocked so I needed them to be examined and cleaned. From greeting to taking care of the problem his staff was professional, helpful and very friendly. I felt relieved when ear wax was removed. Hygiene standards were great. However the best part was meeting Doctor Godinez at the end of my visit to go over my experience. He loves what he does. You can tell the passion in his eyes and since my hearing went back to %100 I can tell my experience with him and his lovely staff was great. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been very worried about my ear pain and my ENT referred me to Dr. Godinez. I made an appointment and came in. I didn’t have to wait long and the nurses and staff were all super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and I was the only one in the waiting room which calmed my nerves Covid-wise. The doctor saw me and did some tests and he assured me everything was fine with my ears, and that it was actually a separate issue. I had an emergency with my Starkey hearing aid. I found them on Yelp, and since I live close, I wanted to give a try. I was depressed and angry for being without hearing; they were super cooperative and very professional. I worked with Anna, an amazing and very professional person, that assisted me since day one. She was patient when I’m not even patient with myself sometimes. She did a fantastic job, and today I picked up the hearing aid. It’s working perfectly. I decided to change my other hearing aid because of the amazing job they did. She repeats the same information over and over to make sure you understand everything, they are honest and competent and charged only a fair fee. I took my Dad to see Dr. GodĂnez because he was referred from friend. We were worried because he was hearing noise in his ears. When we contacted his office we spoke to Anna who was very helpful and kind. She made our appointment the next day. When we saw the Doctor he was very knowledgeable and caring. He diagnosed my dad with noise induced hearing aids. Since my dad did not want hearing aids the doctor recommended ear protection to help prevent additional hearing loss. Great place I will recommend.

Overall i had a great experience. Staff is nice and welcoming. Dr. Godinez is true champion for medicine. His compassion an attention to detail was great. He ran a few test and set me up with a treatment plan to help for my tinnitus. I trust he and im confident that i can overcome my condition with his treatment. I recently had a sudden onset of hearing loss. The office fit me in the same day. It turned out i had hearing loss and needed steroids. Dr. G mentioned I needed to see an ENT immediately. He personally called his colleague whoâs an ENT. I saw him the same day. I took my steroids and after my dose I had a full recovery. I canât thank Dr. G and his staff enough. I went to this clinic for ear pain. The ladies in here are so sweet and nice . Anna explained what would be occurring on my visit. She mentioned all possible charges and assured me that I would need to approve everything before itâs done. Dr. Godinez was also very compassionate and really cared about my well being. He removed a large amount of wax and told me to call him the next day. I did a told him that my pain had gotten better but was still there. He recommended I see a dentist to rule any dental/jaw issue. It turn out that the pain was related to teeth grinding. Thank you Doctor you really reminded me of what doctors used to be like. I recently came to this clinic because I was having ear pain. I called the office and I spoke to Anna. She listened to my problem and she suggested I see the doctor for a consultation. I showed up to the office and was seen within 15 minutes. The staff treated me with care and the doctor was very patient and listened to my concerns. fortunately my condition was not severe. It turned out to be a cotton tip. He removed it and after a few days my pain was gone. Highly recommend to anyone

5.0 star rating – Brought my child In for second hearing test. Did not know what to expect since the last hearing test did not go well. I must say it was night and day. Dr. G’s staff was quick and efficient. When I was passed into the doctor’s room. One of the girls came in with toys and played with my child. Dr. G then comes in with a Mickey Mouse voice. I admit both my child and I enjoyed it. My child felt comfortable and allowed himself to be tested. It turned out my child just had an ear infection. He suggested some natural treatments and referred me back to my pediatrician. You guys are great!

5.0 star rating – I brought my child in for an evaluation last week at Dr. Godinez’s office because I’ve been having some concerns about his hearing lately and his constant ear infections. I’m sure as other mothers out there your child always comes first and I had to figure out what was going on with him. I was honestly thinking the worst walking into that office because of the review posted on here and I was very nervous. But I’d like to say that they treated my child very well although he was being very fuzzy and did not want to be checked. Both the staff and the Dr. were being very patient and understanding and I very much appreciated that. I would really recommend this place.

First of all my hearing aids were $6200 and yes they have wireless capabilities and i also have the ability to connect to my phone. I did extensive research as well as went to other doctors before i purchased my hearing aids. With all do respect Mr. Pat C $1510 for hearing aids are you insane. Hearing aids don’t cost $755 each. Pat C you know better. You probably heard nothing because your request were ludicrous. My Name is Dan P and i have been a patient for five years. All you yelpers disregard Pat C’s comments. 5.0 star rating – I was looking for an Audiologist that would evaluate me at my house. I was lucky to Find Dr. Godinez. His staff was very up front, nice and honest. His visit and diagnostic tests were affordable considering he was coming to my house. I was suffering from ear pain and some hearing loss. I was happy to find out that my ailment was related to the upper respiratory bug that was going around. Since i was already taking augmentin he mentioned that it would resolve after finishing the dose. He did suggest a vaporizer. He mentioned that in some cases it helps soothe my condition. Interestingly i was already in possession of this device. Sure enough just like Dr. G said, it resolved within a few days and i was back in action. I would recommend

She suggested i come in for a consult and that the doctor would tell me what my problem was if any. It turned out to be wax. The doctor and staff were so nice and professional. Who would have thought i would find a gOod doctor on Yelp. Thank you yelp. Aside from having a positive experience. The clinic saw me within 15 mins after i checked in. The office was clean and easy to find. Parking was great. I decided to park in the street instead of paying because there was plenty of parking. They were very helpful and efficient. The nursing staff were the first to see me and as they ran a couple tests they asked questions as to why I was coming in to the office that day. They were so nice and friendly and truly listened to what concerns I had about my hearing. The doctor came in after and discussed the results with me and what my options were. Dr. G is one of the nicest doctors I have meet and he is very intelligent in his field. He talked through my options and we came to a decision in a timely manner. Dr. Godinez staff answered all my questions prior to my visit. I also warned the girl who made my appointment that my son was terrified of doctor offices. When i arrived i parked on the street because they didn’t validate. i was ok with that because it was made known to me prior to my visit and their was plenty of parking. When i arrived my son began to cry, i apologized to the receptionist. She said you don’t have to apologize this is acceptable here.WOW!!!!!!!!!! I was seen within 15 minutes however my son was terrified. I thought of leaving but the nurses told me to wait and see if the doctor had better luck. They assured me he was really good. The doctor was amazing. He walked in with an assortment of toys and his funny voices Donald duck, Mickey and Stitch. My son fell for him immediately. 5.0 star rating – Best pediatric audiologist !! Took my 5yr old son who fail screening at school , i was lead to believe that he would have hearing loss. I was very scared. When I showed up to the office the staff was very attentive and warm. It only took 15 min for them to pass me in even though they very busy. The manager anna was so sweet that she brought toys so he would feel comfortable while we waited for the nurse to begin the tests. My son felt very comfortable with the whole staff. When Dr. Godinez came in to review my son’s results he came with a cat in the hat hat and clown glasses. I thought that was great.. he really won my son over. Before he left the doctor also surprised him with a candy. Great touch! Best of all my son was diagnosed with normal hearing…. highly recommend this office to anyone with kids….

I tried several offices and no one fixed my problem. They just take my money. I decided to call one more office. Dr. G staff was very helpful and caring. She was very positive and said that the doctor would help you the best he can. When the doctor saw me he said you just need wax removal since I had lots of wax. The staffs attention to detail was amazing coupled with the doctors bedside manner put me at ease. I knew I had hearing loss but I just did not want to admit it. I also was terrified hearing aids. Doctor Godinez I might say has a way with words and he made me feel comfortable with my impairment. He also presented me with all my options and I was amazed that hearing aids were so comfortable and invisible. He fit me with hearing aids and long and behold I could hear again. Lastly after the doctor verified and I confirmed I was happy with my hearing aids. Staff explained the do’s and don’t. She was so sweet. After the evaluation the doctor told us that we should not worry and that the issue was just wax. We paid for the consult which was very inexpensive. The procedure was also inexpensive. I paid less than $200 to see a doctor in Sherman oaks. Last time I saw a doctor I paid $175 for five minutes. This clinic is honest, affordable and they really care. The waiting time was surprisingly short, I went in after waiting for only 5 minutes or so. The results were really helpful for me to learn about my ears conditions and useful for my career as an audio engineer. They also provide ear drops and liquids that are helpful in recovering certain conditions. I will definitely go back for another check up in the near future!

Went there with no insurance turn out I had a lot of wax build up I had this bad ear for a while now thinking it would get fix on its own with time but it just got worse with time can’t heard also embarrassing moments tired . So when deciding on a service in Los Angeles I used Yelp to find one near my work which was price competitive and well rated. This place ticked all the boxes and upon arrival and having had the treatment I can’t recommend it highly enough. I had really blocked ears and I was dubious as to how they’d sort it out in one visit but they did. It took perseverance on their part but they got the job done within my lunch hour.
